Use and Speak the French Language
November 27, 2007 | Hits for this post:892 |
When learning French, you deal with many challenges since, mainly, the grammar points and lessons are not familiarly easy. There are bound to be French words that are difficult to understand and speak, while there are still some French grammar which needs a bit more effort to be mastered. When it all comes down to it, French is still a worthwhile language to learn and speak.
But what if after all the hard work of learning it, you suddenly just let go of all the things you learned? Just think about the time you spent learning all the French tongue-twisting words and throat straining accent. It would certainly go to waste if you just completely put all the French treasures you’ve learned desk-bound.
One of the funny things about people in the process of learning is that we tend to put our hearts in to it but then we don’t maximize in using it. Good for those who have learned it and are actually practicing it as this will expand their vocabulary even more. Surprisingly, if you did learn French before but did not practice it to your advantage, you’ll be surprise by the changes that are going to take effect on your basic communication skills.
It has been iterated that while learning a language for the first time, the basic communication skills should be used first. Listening to how the words are pronounced and used in a sentence is a basic requirement that anyone shouldn’t skip. Going back, not practicing French will not cause for you to entirely lose touch of your knowledge of the language. It will just simply slip out and cause for you to fail in speaking it. Understanding it is not a problem, but if you don’t practice it, you don’t make use of it much either.
The best way to completely adapt a language? Use it to your advantage. Use it everywhere with everyone. It doesn’t matter if you use just a phrase of it, as long as you gain the confidence that you have what it takes to speak the language is enough. Don’t put what you’ve learned to waste.
